St Peter's Church, Prescott Place, off Clapham High Street,
SW4 6BX (nr Snappy Snaps opposite Sainsburys)
We start at 7.30pm every Monday and newcomers are particularly welcome.
This is an hour and a half meeting with a break in the middle
for tea, coffee, biscuits and usually some cake to celebrate someone's sober
birthday. The break gives an opportunity for newcomers to talk
to someone and perhaps exchange telephone numbers if they wish.
Usually an equal number of men and women attend each week and their ages
and length of sobriety vary considerably. This gives a good cross section
of experience, strength and hope.
The meeting is non-smoking
How to find us:
By underground About half way between Clapham Common and Clapham North station. Both on the Northern Line.
By Bus 35, 37, 60, 88, 137, 137A, 155, 345
Our
meetings are normally 'closed' that is, attendance is limited to those who
have a drink problem, however if you are attending your first meeting with
a partner or friend we can waive the closed meeting rule |
