Thursday 2th July
2009. The Vice Chairman opened the meeting and
welcomed all present.
Apologies for absence were noted. The minutes
of the last meeting, in June 2009, were adopted as a
true record, and there was no further business
arising therefrom.
Secretary’s report ;- Secretary is still vacant . Temporary
secretary,nothing to report
Convention report:-due to lack of support £300:00 loss recorded.Larry
thanked for all his hard work for not just this convention but also for all
other conventions that he has been involved in.Chair states we need to look at
this event next year to see if there is enough interest
Reports were then read by or on behalf of
liason officers in the following areas .
Prison, Electronic Communication, Health,
Courts & Social Services, and Telephone Liaison Officers.There
are posts vacant for Roundabout Officer
and Internal Liason Officer as well as Courts and Social Services.
The chairman asked all in attendanceto
actively advertise the fact that Intergroup still need volunteers for the above
posts.
Both P.I
and P.L.O officers are looking for volunteers for assistance.Prisons for female
sponsors and Public Information for assistance with no period of sobriety
required.
All other reports were of routine nature
and no business arose therefrom.
The Vice Chairman thanked all for
attending and the meeting closed.
The next meeting will
convene on Thursday 6th of August 2009.
