collective voice and conscience of the majority of the following 116 AA Groups
situated not only within the north
west area of The City of Glasgow, but also
within the districts of Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs and
Immediately out with the City boundary.
The aims of
an Intergroup are to aid the constituent Groups in their common purpose of
carrying the AA message to the
still
suffering alcoholic and, by using their combined strength and unity, to improve
and maintain good relations with all
organisations
in the community.

through a service committee structure; Prison Liaison Officer,

Officer, Employment Liaison Officer, Courts/Social Services Liaison Officer,
Telephone Liaison Officer, Roundabout (AA
Magazine) Liaison Officer, Electronic Communications Liaison Officer,
and Internal Liaison Officer.

of Alcoholics Anonymous may attend an Intergroup meeting as an observer. Anyone
who is a member of
any of the
constituent groups and who is either considering becoming involved in service,
or simply desiring to find out
more about
our service and communication structure, would be warmly received. Such persons
would be welcome to
participate
in any discussion but would not be
permitted to vote on any matter unless
